Baking Frenzy

I don't know what had happened to me but today...I just felt like I had to BAKE! Sorry to disappoint you guys but NO, I haven't been abducted by aliens. =p This was how it went....

After waking up around 6.30am, I began to paint the cute clay froggy I've created yesterday and straight after that, I made a very 'kawaii' looking naruto figure!! If I have the time, I'll take pictures of the finished models and upload it here SOON. When Sofiya had woken up, we decided to make 'fairy cupcakes' from an activity book I've found the day before. The cakes turned out great but the icing...hmm...how should I put this~~ sape2 yg ade kencing manis..DILARANG makan! Even if it looks colourful, resist it and BEWARE of the content. HAHAHAHA [insert evil laughter here]

Didn't go anywhere today. Just chilled at home sweet home. In the afternoon, I baked an almond-carrot cake. I know, I've been struck by lightning [ade ke kat Qatar? Hujan pon tak dek =D] and had turned a new leaf. It's the 1st time ever I've made something without anyone's help. WhOOP! WhOOP! XP Around Maghrib, I even made the cream cheese icing to make it even MORE scumptious. This is the picture of Nurdini's 1st ever EATABLE cake~~

As you can see from the picture, there wasn't a lot of icing spread on top of it. That was because I couldn't estimate how much cheese was needed but because of this little estimating ERROR, my cake got the name 'KEK CARROT,CHEESE KEDEKUT!' by Abah. Translated into 'Carrot Cake, Stingy Cheese!' [insert victorious laughter here by Abah]. *Sob* *Sob* Sampai hati...=(

Singing Dune

Yesterday, I woke up around 11~ish a.m. That's quite early since the day before that I woke up straight after azan zuhur. =D Around 1pm, everyone, excluding Haziq, went to Uncle Yusry's house for lunch. Since I'm friendless, the only ppl I talked to the most was Atiqah. HAHA~~ Actually, there were only 4 to 5 families there and they were mostly adults. Not that I'm not friends with them, just that, well...we don't really have a lot of things in common to talk abt. Anyway..

1 hour later, we walked back home because we're the kind of ppl who don't like pollution and also because their flat was right opposite our house... :<

Home Sweet Home, nothing to do except relaxing all day long. AT LEAST, that was what I thought before mama told us to get ready to go to the Singing Dune. Hmm...this is the kind of life you get if you live with two adventurous parents. =p Chilling at home is prohibited!, not that I mind of course. =)

Eventhough abah tried to drive at the speed of light so that we can arrive there before sunset, the trip there took us nearly an hour. What's with the wrong turns and all.. As soon as we got there and met up with 2 other families, I realised something. I've been there b4! Not with my family but on a geography school trip. Huhu~~~=p (great times. great times.)

The sunset scenery was breathtakingly gorgeous. Somehow, it really made me feel for the 1st time, that I was incredibly lucky. To be able to live in an Arab country and was very fortunate to be able to see, for myself, what 'singing' dunes were really all about.

The fun part was trying to climb the dune. Since I am incredibly fit and likes challenges, I've picked the highest point to climb. YEp..Bring It On!!!! [not...] Like the uncles said - "1 step up, 3 steps down." As you would have noticed, dune climbing was the hardest exercise I've ever done throughout the year :+ so to whoever that wants to get fit and loose weight, TRY IT!...and break a leg! (literally.)

Zoo

Woke up around Subuh and instead of going back under the cover (like usual), I went downstairs and used the treadmill. Yupp! Unbelievable..

Today, after eating at 'Green Restaurant', my family and I went straight to the Zoo! It's been soo long since we've been there. It's quite nice to meet our 'relatives' once in a while. A change of scenery from the outside world. =D

I can't remember how the animals looked like the last time we saw them but to me, I don't think they've been fed that much. I think the tiger is skinnier than me! You can even see it's ribcage. Poor thing. Oh, and I pity the chimpanzee, it didn't even have a friend to play with and the whole time we were there, the primate was just sitting at the corner, staring longingly at the bars... =(

There weren't a lot of people at the zoo when we were there. Before exiting the zoo, mama let us play at the green park and we all had lots of fun chasing each other. Thank goodness the sprinkler wasn't on otherwise, we could have gotten pretty wet! We also got to play at the playground...me included! =p

After the zoo trip, everyone agreed (apart from Haziq of course...) to go to Landmark. I can't believe how many shops were on SALE!
So...knowing me, I persuaded mama to buy me a pair of straight-cut jeans (no skinny unfortunately...), a cool black & white bracelet and a star studded shoe lace.

Soo...I'm in a HAPPY MOOD today!!! =D
