Helwi's Campus Live View

Actually, I was thinking of posting this up on Sunday but I was sooo tired. Just wanted to blog about the event last sunday.

@ 8.20am~ish I arrived at undercroft. As expected, very few Helwians were there so had to wait for a while. Afterwards there were many kids from various schools around Perak came. The children range between 15-17 years of age. Then I became a faci for group 2. First time dohhh, huhu. Kaku skt. Nasib baik tak payah cakap banyak cuz Helwi cume sponsor place. Another body 'Nisa' was the one in charge. So, there's another kakak faci from Nisa'. Alhamdulillah! =p

One of the modules was a 'campus tour'. So, the kids had to walk around the new academic block to various checkpoints. Sounds fun right? Well...not if you're wearing a jubah and had to walk in the hot 3pm sun. At least I was wearing my 'Adidas' shoes. Kesian jugak tengok setengah budak2 tu pakai heels. AND the girls had to wear baju kurung. Kesiannn~~~ *Mcm Upin&Ipin*

The checkpoints: Pocket D, block 3, pocket C, back to chancellor hall. Bapak jauh and berpusing2. Saje je dieorang buat mcm tu. Dah la pagi makan 1/2 roti gardenia sambal ikan bilis. ;( Habis muka I ni bertambah cerah dan berseri

Ohh, for that day, kak Fatimah requested me to make the backdrops for the slides. Though they didn't use all the slides, kind of happy to see your work being viewed by many people. Ok~~tak kisah la kan kalau tak ade org nak tengok atau kisah pon. Tengok sendiri je la kannn, banggaaa!

We ate nasi ngan ayam kicap. Though quite salty but sebab tengah lapar tahap kebulur, memang exquisitely delicious la kan jadi nye. =D  Later, ade a few more modules like 'salah siapa' [quite a debate went on] and then an inspirational talk by Abang Hakim about 'how to excel in campus'. It was sooo funny when the intercom went on for like 5x due to the fire alarm and he bursted out laughing!!!

Another thing that was touching was when the lady from Nisa' showed many touching videos. ie. abt Prophet Muhammad saw, taubah, real life stories, etc.
Went home @ around 6+pm and was drooped.

So, that was how I spent my Sunday. Of course, it's a totally different story the following day.

On Monday, Haifa and I fasted and we had a full on schedule. Then after our class finished at around 5 [I think], we went to Masjid An-Nur and had a nap there. Actually, we were planning on going to the Quranic recitation class but no one was there. Later on, we went to the Pasar malam in V4 and buka puasa with the Halaqah sisters. First time meeting them since sem1.
Around 8.30pm, I listened to a 'pengisian' by one of the kakak until 10pm.

The end    <3

Makan Tomyam dengan SG group

Last week, on Friday we went to eat tomyam and seafood. Not everyone was there. There were me, Fira, Kak Shima, Nisah, Husna, Ziyan and Kak Ida. Seronok because dah lame tak keluar. Masa pergi naik motor ngan Kak Ida. Bapak lajuuuu Kak Ida bawak motor. Then mse balik naik kereta Kak Shima. Lain kali naik kreta je la. Nanti mama marah. =p

Afterwards, we went to watch tayangan at one of the LH for Mikraj. It's called 'Valley of the Wolves'. I think it's a Turkish movie. Best! It's like a combat movie. Not gory but quite sad. It's about Palestine. Highly recommended.

Ni 'nasi goreng' makan masa jalan2 kat tasik dengan Kia and Haifa

Sotong salut tepung. Sebenarnye nak makan 1 pinggan tapi I have to think of others kan

The Tomyammmmm yammm yammm

Amboi, sedapnye makan

SG 'Smart Group' Binding

Today's Friday. Kalau kat msia this day counts as a weekday. Lain la kalau dekat Doha. However, the good thing about this sem is that my 'almost' weekends days are Friday and Saturday. Yeyy~~ nostalgic. Why did I say almost? Because tomorrow, saturday, we will have 'Sports Science' lecture at 4pm. Sigh~~~Nasib tak awal lagi. Kalau tidak tak boleh balik masa mama, abah dan yang lain2 datang Msia.

Okay, back to the topic. Yesterday I slept at around 3am since I just finished the backdrops for 'Campus Life View' that will be organised by Helwi. Don't know where, don't know when. As part of PnP (Publication n Print) department, Kak Fatimah told me to complete it by today tapi sebab I ni rajin sangat, I siapkan terus semalam.
Actually, habis buat at around 1.30 ++ am but after that, bace novel 'M.A.ID'. Not mine, Syafira's. Huhu~~best cite diee. Romantic n so not gonna happen in real life. Kalau dapat husband macam tu...

Anyways~~back to the MAIN topic. Promise. Tadi at 12.30pm we had an 'SG Binding'. This programme consists of all the smartgroups together, both May and Jan 11. Ada talk by kak Ira, chairwoman of Helwi.
Something that I liked which she mentioned-

Perempuan umpama permata. Sangat cantik tetapi dibungkus kemas2 dan susah nak dapat. Cuma certain people sahaja yang boleh tengok. Itu pon, hanga orang yang bersih dan hanya orang yang akan menjaga kita dengan betul2.

Beautiful isn't it. This shows how precious women are and how valuable our 'maruah' is. She also said that a woman's most highly-regarded thing is our 'sifat pemalu---aka, Hayak'

Later on, everyone sat on the tikar in their own SG groups and ate ramai2. Sedap dan best. I ate ayam berempah and sayur, and drank  bancau. Hmmm...heavennnn

That's all for now.

Note to self: I think I really have to start working and studying hard in order to become someone worthy in life. InsyaAllah, dengan doa dan kegigihan belajar, akan dapat scholarship yang diidam2kan.

Frog in your stomach.Why?

Assalamualaikum.

Weird title? If someone asks that to me right now, there's no denying the fact that I'll probably admit it.

Why did I say that? Because right now, my tummy is making such melodious croaking noises. And it ain't quiet either.

Why is it croaking? Because I am currently in the process of going on a hunger strike in order  to make the lecturer move the Sports Science class on a Sunday instead of Saturday so that we can have a full 2 days weekend. Just like other people.
Ok fine la. That's a grey lie. Actually I'm gantying (Manglish) my fast that I might have forgotten about before. And also, it's the sunnah of our beloved Prophet to fast on Thursdays. (and Mondays)

Thank God my room mate is not in the room otherwise she will have to endure a 3 hours long musical orchestra before I'll be able to eat again. Or is it noise pollution? Hmm...

Why is she not here?
Because she's currently in the kitchen chatting away with one of our other housemates. As long as she isn't gossiping about her oh-so-lazy room mate, I'm fine with that.

Why am I rambling on and on?
Hmm, no clue. The emptiness in my stomach must have made my brain empty too. And blank. And disconcerted.

Why are there so many 'whys'?
Duhh. Haven't you guys heard of Socrates. That famous Greek philosopher? Me neither. Until I learnt Thinking Skills this sem of cuz. He said that the reason why the Japanese are so smart is because they ask 'WHY' at least five times. This means that their brain is made to analyse problems more effectively. Wow! If only we Malaysians are like that...

ASSIGNMENT TO ALL: The next time a person asks you something, ask him back the same thing then keep on bombarding him with questions until you've already asked 'why?' at least 5 times.

Ps. Any injuries and harrassment involved during this process is not the reliability of the writer.

Ok, enough rambling. Off to stare at the 'second hand' of the clock. Sigh~~~how time walks like kura-kura

Back.

Mase tu I deactivated my account for a while. Ok, sebulan jugak la. Sebabnye...malas nak update sbb rase mcm tgh merapu sorang2. Oh well, biak' pi (lorat kedah) la kan. My own blog so I can write whatever. Siapa kisah? Aiman x kisahh... '-_-

Okla. Bye. Currently feeling sooo sleepy after hours of lectures and lab but have to resist the temptation of the 'of-so-soft' beddd. Off to English tutorial in 1/2 an hour. Sigh~~

Another essay waiting to be written. Joy.
